PRAGA Pasqua 2008 - Dancing House Casa danzante Ginger&Fred |
| La Dancing House, chiamata anche Casa Danzante, rappresenta due ballerini (Ginger&Fred) mentre ballano. La caratteristica forma del palazzo indica la vita stretta della dama cinta dal braccio maschile (il balcone al 5° piano).
Si trova a circa mezzora di camminata dal centro di Praga, all'incrocio col ponte JIRASKUV sulla Moldava.
L'eccentrico architetto Frank O. Gehry è riuscito a far accettare ai praghesi il palazzo in stile futuristico, in netta rottura col passato.
Vederlo dal vivo fa un effetto troppo strano! |

Millenium Park BP BRIDGE |
| Cruzando el BP Bridge del Millenium Park.
Frank Gehry diseñó el puente "BP Bridge", estructura serpenteante de acero inoxidable con madera natural que escuda al Pabellón del ruido de la Avenida Columbus en el lado este del Millennium Park, el cual cuenta con varios elementos interesantes: las formas ondulantes de Gehry, la escultura Anish Kapoor's Cloud Gate y la fuente Jaume Plensa's Crown, que aportan algo diferente a la banalidad de las nuevas construcciones de concreto y las torres de oficinas de la ciudad, ofreciendo a la comunidad la posibilidad de tener un espacio libre y alegre para la convivencia. |
